I heard there was a Japanese restaurant in the hills who hosts a ‘farmer’s market‘ on Thursday evenings. After parking at a random church, we hopped into a shuttle van with some strangers that took us up the steep streets of Hollywood. We found ourselves amongst food trucks and fresh produce stands, a wine and beer bar, and an incredible view of Los Angeles. We wined and dined on some amazing food (Joe had the bomb grilled cheese and corn bisque, I had an osso buco cupcake and a corn and beet salad.) Yea, I said it, MEAT CUPCAKE. I die.
